2003 Joseph Wong Design Associates Receives AIA Design Award San Diego, CA -- The San Diego American Institute of Architects held its design awards ceremony August 2, 2003 at the Neurosciences Institute in La Jolla. JWDA was honored with a Citation Award for the firm's work on the Industrial & Commercial Bank's Data Center outside of Shanghai, China. The jury was comprised of Ron Radziner, design principal of Marmol Radziner + Associates, Los Angeles; Craig A. Curtis, a partner in The Miller/Hull Partnership, Seattle; and M. Arthur Gensler Jr., founder and president of Gensler, San Francisco.
This is JWDA's third design award garnered for work for the Industrial & Commercial Bank. In 2001 the firm received an Honor Award for its work on the Bund Branch Renovations and Remodel and in 2002 the firm received a “Best Interior Design” Award for the interiors of the Bank's Headquarters in Shanghai. |
