On the public end, the hotel's update included a new porte cochere with fresh eye-catching paving and soothing landscaping. New floor-to-ceiling doors allow the lobby to remain open to the outdoors on temperate days while an immense double-sided fireplace assures that chilly days will be cozy inside. New millwork creates intimate spaces for meeting and greeting.

The pool area has been revamped and reimagined. A 15-foot waterwall gives a luxe background for the ballroom while the terrace offers both a wonderful view of the ocean and an enjoyable space in which to socialize with private cabanas and canopied tables all within steps of a full service bar and pool. The new restaurant provides diners with a unique experience where the dining room offers views into orange and oak groves where the trees are accented with lanterns for magical nighttime dining while a private dining room provides gracious privacy.
