Highlights |

Built in the 60s, the hotel has enjoyed many years as a premier San Diego hotel. Six low-rise buildings arrayed around a gorgeously landscaped garden comprise the hotel, which offers 250 rooms, 2 restaurants, extensive meeting and event facilities, a health club, pool, and spa. A recent renovation of the guest rooms and the need to bring all the buildings into a visually coherent whole necessitated the cosmetic upgrade of the exteriors of all the buildings and the comprehensive renovation of the entry, lobby, and restaurants. The result of the remodel is a crisp, cool, and clean aesthetic that emphasizes the benefits of the indoor/outdoor lifestyle of temperate coastal Southern California. The renovation was carried off without disruption of services and was completed in early 2007. |
