Orchids & Onions 2026
JWDA Managing Principal Matthew Geaman recently served as a juror for the San Diego Architectural Foundation’s 2026 Orchids & Onions awards program, joining fellow architects and design professionals to tour, deliberate on, and select this year’s entries.
The jury tour offered a chance to experience the public-nominated projects firsthand, share perspectives, and discuss the design ideas and decisions behind them.
Here’s a firsthand look at the film from this year’s jury tour for a behind the scenes perspective. For more about Orchids & Onions, and to see this year’s selections, visit the SDAF here.
